We are a very active chapter of approximately 50 members who meet regularly throughout Brevard County, Florida. If you live in our area, are just here for the season, or are on vacation, we would love to have you join us!

However long you are able to stay, please don't forget to sign our guestbook and bookmark our site!

Upcoming chapter events: 

-    March 15 General Meeting program: Our Visiting Teacher, Terri Bay, will give a lecture on counted fabrics called "Fabric Frenzy". The next two days will be a class in whitework taught by Terri Bay.

-     March 16 - 17 Terri Bay class Illusion - Ukrainian Whitework at Highland Avenue Fellowship Church. Sign up for this class with Jonalene. Fee is $160. Kit included in fee. Prework required.

-     April 19 We will create a special snowflake, taught by our own President--Bernadette Mathews! We will stitch a 4" x 4" piece that we will learn to "finish" in Bernadette's follow-on class in August. Our stay-at-home members can participate! More info will follow, but you know it will be.a fun class!. There will be a 50-50 Raffle at this meeting.

-     May 17 Indian River Chapter's 44th Anniversary ! Come and celebrate. A special make 'n' take will be provided, plus CUPCAKES! Please RSVP to Stephanie ( to ensure we have enough for all!

-     June 21 We PLAN on having our annual STASH sale. Bring in your no-longer-wanted items to generate some funds for the Guild. Please affix an index card to each item. If you want it back, put your name on the back of the index card. Cash or checks. And please come early with your donations! The back of the hall will be set up with tables for the sale; the front of the hall will be set up with chairs for the program.

-     July 19 General Meeting Program: Christmas in July. We will have The Haven speak about their purpose in the Brevard County community providing temporary shelter for children in need. We will. have a Needs List sent out in email before the meeting, or you can check out their website. Of course, checks made out to the Haven are always appreciated. .

-     August 16 General Meeting Program: Our own Bernadette Mathews will be demonstrating various quick finishing techniques to use on our small (4x4) stitched items! There may be a Book Sale at this meeting! If not, then a 50-50 raffle will be held.

-     September 20 General Meeting Program: Our own Ginny Gilbertson will be teaching part 1 of a 2 part Hardangar project! If you ever wanted to learn this decorative and functional embroidery technique, now's the time!

-     Visiting Teacher Jane Timmers is coming in November teaching a Finishing Notebook that will give us all sorts of great ideas!

-     And REMEMBER: Our stitchers are the best in the world!.
