A business meeting is held and, after a short refreshment break, a program is conducted. A "show and tell" is a part of every monthly meeting. Members and guests are welcome to bring something to work on if they are not participating in the program. Guests are welcome to two free visits. Thereafter, they are invited to become a member of the chapter. A repeating guest will pay a fee of $3.00 on a subsequent visit. However, if the guest has paid the $3.00 fee and then chooses to join during the course of the meeting, the $3.00 fee shall be deducted from membership dues. A new member is requested to make a needlework name tag within a period of two months after joining the chapter. This name tag is to be worn at all regular meetings and professional workshops. Any member not wearing a name tag shall pay a fine of 25 cents.

Satellite Groups meet at regular times:

• Central Brevard Sew 'n' Sews meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at Seaside Stitching, Merritt Island from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. In addition they meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 5:30 - 7:45 pm at the Central Brevard Library in Cocoa.
• Night Stitchers meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 7:00 - 9:00 pm in a private home. Check with Kay W. to find out where.

Stitch-In Groups meet weekly at members' homes throughout the area. Check the calendar for locations and times.

Workshops, GCC's and Special Interest Groups meet at the following times:

• after the board meeting at the Melbourne Library until 2:00 pm.
• on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Melbourne Library

           You are welcome to bring lunch when these meetings run over the lunch hour.

• "SAMPLER SLEUTHS?"

  The Sleuths are DONE!!!! We have solved all the bands. No one died along the way. Many completed the journey and will show the results at the November meeting. But we are planning to continue…….there are bands we have not addressed, stitches yet to be learned, techniques still a mystery to us.  Listen carefully at the next few general meetings—we will be announcing the NEW 2012 Sampler info.
  We will not be meeting in November or December but will start the quest again in January at Norma’s on the 4th Wednesday from 10-12 am.  Watch the calendar. Those interested in joining our small but faithful group, get your magnifier and disguise ready for next year’s project.
